When booking a tour the client accepts the terms and conditions outlined below:

 

Passport and Visas

People must carry a valid passport and obtain the relevant Visas when traveling with Namxan Tours . The passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. Namxan Tours can not accept responsibility if entry is denied to a country due to incorrect visa or passport.
Note: Travelers can get Visas on arrival at International entry border of Lao PDR with the price from 35$/pax (depending on nationality) for authority fee, also, visas can be requested for extension when completed 30 days of staying.  A passport size photo is required for visa-on-arrival.

 

Booking

Bookings can be made by telephone, email or at our head office in Vientiane. If you do not pay the balance by the due date your booking will be cancelled. If we accept your booking, we will issue a Confirmation email. A contract will exist between us from the date we issue the Confirmation email or if you book within 7 days of departure the contract will exist when we accept your payment. When you receive the Confirmation email please check the details carefully and inform us immediately if anything is incorrect.

Your personal safety is of paramount importance to us and therefore it is imperative that you advise us at the time of booking of any condition, medical or otherwise, that might affect your or other people’s enjoyment of the trip.

 

Payment/Change/Cancellation Policy

Payment from outside of Laos is by bank transfer only, payment instructions will be sent via email immediately after the booking has been confirmed. Please be aware that transfers can take up to 5 working days.
The balance for any tour purchase must be paid in full one no later than 30 days before the tour commences. If a tour is purchased less than 30days before departure the full balance must be paid immediately.
There is a bank transfer surcharge of 0.2% payable by the client to the bank in Laos plus any additional charges the client’s own bank may charge.  Namxan Tours are not responsible for any of these charges.
The payment is then subject to the following charges should you decide to cancel the purchase for any reason.

Depending on availability, our Short Excursions, Flexible Tours and other selected tours departing from Vientiane can be organized at short notice (less than 5 working days before departure) provided the clients are in Laos and can come to the office in Vientiane to pay the full balance by cash or Visa/Mastercard.  Visa/Mastercard payments carry a 5% surcharge.
All tour prices are accurate at the date quoted, but we reserve the right to change
any of those prices. Prices on our website are updated regularly. Before you make a booking we will give you the up-to-date price of your chosen holiday including upgrades or additional facilities which you have requested.

Changes in transportation costs, including the cost of fuel, dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such exchange rates mean that the price of your travel arrangements may change after you have booked.

Tour changes can be made with a standard fee of $25 for each change. In addition to the fee we charge, any alteration, whether a change to an existing booking or a change to another tour or departure date, will also be subject to the immediate payment by you of any costs imposed by any of the suppliers providing the component parts of the tour. If the holiday to which you transfer is more expensive than the one you originally booked, the full balance must be paid immediately.

Any alteration by you within 30 days of departure will be treated as a cancellation of the
original booking and will be subject to cancellation charges.
Where you are unable to travel you can transfer your booking to another person, subject to the following:

a) you must notify us by email or telephone at least 30 days before departure

b) your request is accompanied by all original travel documents which you have received and the full name and address of the transferee;

c) the transferee must fulfill any conditions that apply to the booking;

d) payment by you of an administrative charge of a minimum of $50 per person plus payment of all costs charged or levied by those supplying your travel arrangements

We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time, or change any of the facilities, services or prices described in our brochures or website. We will endeavour to advise you of any changes known at the time of booking. We plan the arrangements for your tour many months in advance and may occasionally have to make changes, most of which are minor.
